If the sharks and giant squid in the water aren’t enough to keep you from scuba diving, try these two eyeballs full of burst capillaries.
Barotrauma, known to divers as ‘mask squeeze’, occurs when the pressure of the mask is not correctly equalized. We’re not sure what that means except that scuba diving is yet another fun-filled activity we foolish humans throw ourselves into despite it clearly not being our thing. Despite its ghoulish countenance, the condition is relatively harmless and, the man’s eyes should be back to normal a few months after the accident.
