The Winter Olympics are set to kick-off in February in Sochi, Russia. People are preparing and getting ready to go all out for Olympic gold, silver, and bronze. One of those is Snowboarding champion Shaun White. He prepared a new halfpipe trick, especially for the occasion.
White is looking to hold down his third Olympic Gold metal for the Men’s Halfpipe in Snowboarding category. To do that, he stepped his game up a notch and designed a new trick for debut. The trick is a frontside double-cork 1440. GoPro carved out a private halfpipe for the professional snowboarder so that he could practice and land that trick just perfect. He gave GoPro the goods as he captured his trials and road to sticking the trick in a video titled, “Shaun Flippin’ White”. The trick started off as a Double McTwist 1260 then a 180 half twist with two head-over-heels flips were added in. Check out the footage below and look for Shaun White to hit the halfpipe at the 2014 Winter Olympics.
