Track Cycling Taster at Herne Hill Velodrome

2012 and 2013 have been great years for cycling, from the 2012 Olympic cycling events, two Brits – Bradley Wiggins and Chris Froome - winning the 2012 and 2013 Tour De France and this weekends Prudential London Ride which took place in London today. There are many cycling events I could refer to, however this blog entry is about Silver Fit’s up-coming events at the Herne Hill Velodrome.  

On the 7th and 14th of August (9am-10am), Silver Fit, a registered charity aimed at encouraging wellbeing and fitness for seniors over 50, are holding a two part introduction to track cycling.  The two sessions will be led by a top British Cycling accredited coach who will introduce you to the techniques, rules and strategy of the energetic world of track cycling.
