A ROCK climber has been winched to safety after falling 15 metres from a cliff face at The Rock Reserve.

The man, in his thirties, was retrieved by the Snowy Hydro SouthCare Rescue Helicopter, which lowered a doctor and paramedic to the cliff base before all three were winched to safety.

He arrived at Wagga Base Hospital at 2.30pm, where he was treated for multiple injuries.

Paramedics, police the VRA and SES units from The Rock and Wagga also attended the scene.
