COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — Police in Post Falls have released the name of a woman who died after falling about 50 feet in a city park. Sykose featured the original article yesterday. The victim’s name has now been released.

37-year-old Megan C. Mitchell was drinking on top of the ledge of a wall often used for rock climbing in Q’emiln (ka-MEE’-lin) Park when she fell about 50 feet. Emergency crews were called at about 9:30 p.m.

Kootenai County Fire and Rescue began medical aid, but Mitchell died at the scene of injuries suffered in the fall.
